Pan, Óskar and Olafur from Stereo Hypnosis were in Toronto last weekend. Darkhorse and friend Praveer took them out for supper at 1 in the morning. Fran´s Restaurant at Victoria and Shuter – FAIL. The temperature in the restaurant was too cold. In Iceland, we think the inside should be warmer than the outside and not the other way around. The food was greasy, boring and overpriced. We will never recommend this place.

On the last day we were determined to forego the “Fran´s Fail” but were faced with a similar situation of having to find somewhere to eat at 22:30 on a Sunday night. We are pleased to report that the Pickle Barrel on Yonge Street is very fine. Late hours, hot delicious food, super friendly waiter named James and we all sat around this big majestic table, except James – he didn´t sit at the table.

There´s a buzz happening. It has something to do with Iceland Airwaves and features bands coming to Toronto. But that´s all we can tell you for now. Check back for updates.
